Slican doorphones DPH.AB with DG note mean new colour version – Dark Graphite. Funcionally they do not differ from version without DG

Doorphones connected to PBX through existing telephone network allows pepole who intend to enter closed area to communicate with people in that area. In addition they allow activate electrolock or relay (EZ or STA) to control opening of door or gate using:

  • telephone with which is call by selecting appropriate DTMF code on acoustics - * (asterisk) or digits 1 or 2
  • after selecting user account number and PIN from keyboard
  • RFID version - approach identifier
  • POD (door open button)

DPH.AB-KS16 doorphone have following functional features:

  • making a phone call using capacitive buttons numeric keypad
  • controlling two outputs with:
    • electrolock (EZ)
    • additional relay (STA)
  • power suppply: 18-25V AC lub 14-35V DC
  • operating temperature range: -20 to +50 o C (when temperature drops below 0 degrees display response time increases up to 10 seconds)
  • security level - IP32
  • detection of PBX notification signal (INACCESS):
    • frequency: 425Hz (+- 25Hz)
  • Busy signal detection (BUSY):
    • frequency: 425Hz (+- 25Hz)
    • signal/silence duration: 352ms - 608ms
    • number of consecutive signal and silence sequences detected: 3
  • detection of unreachable signal (CONGESTION):
    • frequency: 425Hz (+- 25Hz)
    • signal/silence duration: 192ms - 320ms
    • number of consecutive signal and silence sequences detected: 3
  • COD (door open sensor) and POD (door open button) inputs. Both inputs cooperate with electrolock
  • EZ or STA trigger (open) as result of receiving "*" in DTMF, depending on setting of corresponding parameter
  • EZ trigger as result of receiving "1" in DTMF
  • STA trigger (second output) as result of receiving "2" in DTMF. Single pulse of constant duration is generated
  • built-in RFID card reader (cards Unique 125kHz standard, compatible with EM4102 chip)
  • option of EZ or STA triggering as result of approaching registered RFID card
  • programming doorphone from phone using DTMF codes
  • LCD graphic display

Changes in 1.2.50 version

Due to improvement of readability and increasing device's possibilities, since 1.2.50 firmware version, new features are present.

  • Added arrow which indicate green handset (when Short number name is displayed)
  • Possibility to configure own text on idle screen (ScreenText)
  • Added "Search" text in the center of the bottom LCD line (Operation depending on entered short numbers, ScreenText and ShowSearch)
  • Extended the number of short numbers on the list to 50
  • Configurable selection of any number (Choosing only short numbers field)
  • (EZBeepTime) is now configurable

Actual DPH programming table is available HERE

Couple of solutions was taken under consideration during main screen modifications:
1-HOTEL
Guest can choose only one list position, e.g. Reception. Quick access list can be activated for connecting with restaurant, pool, etc. There should be option to block reching all numbers, e.g. hotel rooms.

2-COMPANY WITH A PORTER
Customer can choose specified position on quick access list and additionally can dial any number.

3-OFFICE FOR RENTAL
No reception or porter. In this situation it is important to search companies by name, where all list positions are equal. Making calls by dialing numbers is not required. Main screen displays only office's name or/and address and to make a call, guests needs to choose one company from the list.

4-RESIDENTIAL BUILDING
Main screen displays only building's name or/and address and to make a call, guests needs to dial one of the apartaments number.

Changes in 1.2.1 version

Firmware for doorphones DPH-1,DPH-2 and DPH-16
Release date - July 2014.

Threats detected:
If line, connecting DPH to PBX was long and weak in parameters, it was possible to use a beeper device to open a gate without authorization. To use it however, doorphone needed to be in "Conversation" mode. Generating * signal in DTMF could resolve in opening the gate.

Additional corrections:

  • ringtone signal detection
  • corrections to hanging up DPH keyboard
  • corrections in hanging up RFID module
