Redundancy - allows You control maintain services, through the use of two devices Call Manager, joined as a one logical system. The system enables the control mode protected against hardware failure or road junction. In the case where one of NCP-CM fails, the other takes over the role and provide control for other devices like NCP-GWx, phones etc. In redundant mode, there are two types of Call Manager:

  • MAIN - set up as a "master"
  • BACKUP - set up as a "slave"

We distinguish between the two types of operation:

  • RUNNING - active, which currently controls the operation of processes and equipment;
  • STANDBY - standby mode, in the case information about the failure of the MAIN Call Manager enters RUNNING..

How to connect The two devices are connected to two interfaces INT and RDU
