DPH.IP Doorphone programming
Basic DPH.IP-KS16DRF.C doorphone configuration (IP address, VoIP server) can be made by built-in Menu, with display and keyboard. Detailed configuration of the device is made only with a application for PBX configuration, to which we connect the doorphone.
Entering the Menu is made by double pressing the 
key on doorphone’s keyboard on not configured device (not connected to any PBX).

PIN code
DPH.IP-KS16DRF.C doorphone can be assigned with a PIN code, that allows to enter doorphone's Menu. PIN code in not set by deafult. It can be set in PBX configuration application.

Doorphone IP configuration
DPH.IP doorphone configuration is basically simple and it comes down to connecting doorphone to network, adding it and configuring in PBX management application.
When doorphone will be used in not standard network environment or e.g will be used in routed network (from Internet), additional configuration will be required. For DPH.IP Doorphone to work correctly in such conditions, it is necessary to:
Manually configure doorphone's IP address
By entering the Menu with double click the key, and choosing VoIP and IP Configuration, using arrows ↓ and ↑, we select, if doorphone should use IP address form DHCP server, or manually configured. Highlighting the options (IP address, Netmask, Gateway) and clicking OK will display used parameters. If we are using manual settings, it will be possible to change those values with keyboard. Trying to change those values, while DHCP client is turned on, will result in dislplaying proper notice.
Manually configure VoIP server address
VoIP server is configured in Menu, after selecting VoIP and next VoIP server. Doorphone can automatically connect to a PBX, which has such equipment already configured, or by manually enterind Domain or IP address.
Device authorization is made based on MAC address.

If we choose NO, while asked about automatical VoIP server search, with keyboard, we can enter Domain or IP address of VoIP server. Changing the method of input, from letters and digits to digits alone, is made with key during typing the address.

Changing DPH.IP configuration from PBX application, while it is disconnected, will result, that, after restoring connection, doorphone configuration will overwrite configuration made in PBX application.
DPH.IP-CRORF and DPH.IP-KSxRF.C
When turning on a doorphone without alphanumeric keyboard, DHCP client and automatic VoIP server searching features are on. After connecting the doorphone to the same network as PBX, it will be possible to configure the device from PBX configuration application and therefore changing its IP address.
Doorphone authorization is based on MAC address matching, so it will be necessary to accept a device in PBX.
This series doorphones do not allow for configuration directly in the device.
Error codes
In case of any problem with the device operation, doorphone/reader will signalize this fact with a error code visible on display or by keypad or LED signals.

Error signalling in devices without display (with keypad backlit or LED):
Blinks (number of blinks represents first digit) + short break (1,5s) + Blinks (second digit) + long break (4,5s)
then the procedure of signalling start over.
Adaptation of DPH to environmental conditions
The conversation from the doorphone is conducted in simplex mode - the interlocutors must speak alternately, i.e. if the person at the doorphone is speaking, the person on the phone listens and vice versa, if the person on the phone is speaking, the person at the doorphone listens. The conditions in which the doorphone is suspended are also important, depending on the noise level, it will behave differently and it may be necessary to adjust it, i.e. change the switching threshold. Generally, the higher the noise level at the doorphone, the higher the switching threshold should be.
Changing the switching threshold
- in doorphone set the microphone sensitivity to minimum (1), loudspeaker gain (3)
If the doorphone is located:
- in an isolated room, the switching threshold must be set to 0
- in a quiet room - values 1-2,
- in rooms with normal noise - conversations, background music - 3-4,
- in rooms with increased noise levels - corridor, kindergarten - 5-6,
- in the factory hall, on the construction site, directly on the street - 7
Additional remarks:
- after the adaptation, in the event of a temporary noise / noise of greater intensity than usual during normal doorphone operation, it may be necessary to speak louder into the telephone receiver in order to activate the switching threshold.
- Increasing the sensitivity of the microphone allows the person to hear louder at the doorphone, but at the same time it affects the switching threshold level
- the loudspeaker level of the door station should not affect the operation of the door station, however, in closed rooms or corridors, pay attention to the possibility of reverberation or echoes
Factory reset
Formatting is performed with the Setup jumper on the electronics board. Access to it is obtained after unscrewing the housing.
After installing the jumper, connect doorphone power supply:
- formatting - 6 seconds signal / silence - in the rhythm of 0.2sec / 0.2sec (on doorphones with a display the message Waiting for formatting will appear)
- successful formatting - signal / silence - 1sec / 1sec rhythm (on doorphones with a display the text Load factory settings and then remove the jumper)
A continuous signal indicates that formatting has failed. Please try them again.
After formatting, remove the jumper, assemble and screw the housing.
