DPH16 - Over-plaster or under-plaster assembly

As mentioned above, DPH doorphone is suitable for under- and over-plaster assembly. On following figure, you can see the backside of DPH doorphone casing.

Digit 1 - on above figure - indicate embossing, which can be cutted and after it create four holes for screwing doorphone casing to wall or pillar, where it should be assembled. Assembly can be done using appropriate screws Φ6, not included in doorphone set. Over-plaster assembly is not recommended if doorphone is located on wall or pillar outside the building. In this stituation it is recommended to use special protection casing made of aluminium and protecting doorphone against results of rain- and snow-fall. This casing - it is separate position in price list - is sold with three screws for plastic 3,1x13, which enable to fix this casing to doorphone backside. Shape and dimensions of this casing are presented in chapter 2.1 Characteristic of Slican DPH doorphones. Fixing of protection casing to doorphone backside can be make using included screws and holes indicated with digit 2 on above figure. Every time during DPH doorphone assembly, before screwing all screws, connecting cables should be bring into the casing via hole indicated with digit 3. Except two mentioned above over-plaster assembly methods, under-plaster assembly is also possible. For under-plaster assembly special aluminium covering frame should be used, this frame is available in Slican offer. Under-plaster DPH doorphone assembly method is presented on following figure:

In this situation backside of DPH doorphone is screwed to the bacside of the wall niche. Symilarly as for over-plaster assembly before screwing all screws, connecting cables should be bring into the casing via hole indicated with digit 3. Under-plaster assembly is possible using special protection casing. Special protection casing is linked with DPH doorphone casing identically as for over-plaster casing. Assembly method is presented on following figure:
