DPH - Doorprone buttons

DPH doorphone is available with one or two buttons. As mentioned in chapter 1 Characteristic of Slican DPH doorphones, doorphone buttons are touch buttons. Front panel is only difference between one- and two-buttons DPH doorphone. Electronic cirquit and programming method are the same for both types of doorphone. For this reason text included in further part of this instruction is the same for both doorphone types. Following figure presents button used in one- or two-buttons DPH doorphone.

Black rectangle with green handset is a touch button, after touching this button a DTMF signal is send to PBX, this signal defines extension number to establish call from doorphone (described above button operation take place only after touching in area of black rectangle). By default - in factory settings - to upper button (in one-button dorphone it is sole button) number 21 is assigned. To lower button no numer is assigned by default. Default settings can be changed in any time and it is possible to assign to every button number consits of naximally 16 digits. DPH doorphone programing, including number assigned to button change, is described in chapter 2.7 PBX configuration for doorphone operation. Next to the button a window is located, in this window you can insert card with number description. This card after wrote down the dedcription can be placed inside the window after disassembling front panel as described in chapter 2.2 DPH - Opening doorphone casing.
