Updating

  • Every day work with charging data doesn't require updating subscriber and external lines database.
  • During first BillingMAN launching (with specified PBX) or when changes in hardware or subscriber names occured database should be manually updated according PBX configuration: Get from PBX.
  • If poirts was erased from configuration, it should be updated using option: Get from calls.

Updating using current PBX configuration (recommended). "Get from PBX"

Subscriber updating

From tools window an option Subscriber table -> Get from calls should be selected[1]. This action should updates/overwrites current configuration, it mean:

  1. Suscriber numbers,
  2. Names/subscriber comments,
  3. Port type,
  4. Belonging to companies.

External lines updating

From tools window an option External lines table -> Get from calls should be selected[2]. This action should updates/overwrites current configuration, it mean:

  1. External lines numbers,
  2. Descriptions/trunk comments,
  3. Port type,
  4. Port status.

Updating using established calls. "Get from calls"

Subscribers updating

From tools window an option Subscriber table -> Get from calls should be selected[1]. This action should updates/overwrites current configuration, it mean:

  1. Suscriber numbers,
  2. Names/subscriber comments,
  3. Port type,
  4. Belonging to companies.

But only according calls established using specified port.

External lines updating

From tools window an option External lines table -> Get from calls should be selected[2]. This action should updates/overwrites current configuration, it mean:

  1. External lines numbers,
  2. Descriptions/trunk comments,
  3. Port type,
  4. Port status.

But only according calls established using specified port.

Warning! If there were no calls established usin specified port, the port is not visible for this updating method.
